A Garden Route holiday is usually enjoyed as part of a bigger itinerary. Situated between Cape Town and the game reserves of the Eastern Cape, the Garden Route fits nicely into a combination of the three destinations, giving you an unbeatable mix of mountains, beaches, wildlife and all the attractions of Africa’s favourite city. And thanks to South Africa’s impressive transport infrastructure, you can also add on a safari in the Kruger National Park.

Start or end your Garden Route holiday in the Mother City and you won’t miss out on Table Mountain, the penguins of Boulders Beach, the V&A Waterfront and Nelson Mandela’s prison home Robben Island.

The Garden Route ends at the malaria-free, Big 5 reserves of the Eastern Cape. Privately run and complete with luxury lodges, riverside suites and grand family farmhouses, they offer game drives, nature walks & canoe safaris – ask us about the best accommodation for your requirements.

With an airport at either end of the Garden Route, it’s simple to fly from the glittering Cape coast to the earthy wilderness of the Kruger and its adjoining private reserves – the Sabi Sands, Thornybush and Timbavati. Stand by for Africa’s best Big 5 game viewing…
