Days 1 – 2: Discover Moremi

After arriving at Botswana’s Maun Airport you’ll fly by shared charter flight to the Moremi Game Reserve. You’ll be met & driven to Sango Safari Camp for 2 nights on a full-board basis.

Leaving the bustle of Maun Airport behind, you’ll fly to a bush airstrip at the edge of the Okavango Delta and Sango Safari Camp. Lying under giant trees by the famous Khwai River, the camp overlooks the Moremi Game Reserve but sits in its own private concession. This enables Sango, a traditional canvas safari camp, to offer spot-lit night drives and guided walks in the concession in addition to drives in Moremi. You’ll even have the chance to visit the local village for an insight into life next to the Okavango Delta. Thanks to its permanent water and mix of habitats, the area has excellent year-round game viewing and a reputation for big cats and wild dogs.

Days 3 – 4: The Chobe River – Elephant Country

Fly by shared charter to the Chobe River for 2 nights at Chobe Elephant Camp on a full-board basis.

A short flight after breakfast takes you to the Chobe National Park and your next accommodation, Chobe Elephant Camp. Perched on a forested ridge, the traditional safari camp offers panoramic river views at almost every turn. Game drives along the river floodplains are mixed with boat cruises to deliver a comprehensive Chobe experience. At its best in the May to October dry season, the river attracts huge numbers of animals, especially elephants who crowd the water’s edge on a hot afternoon. The densities of game draws predators, especially lions and, increasingly, leopards, seen lurking in the riverine forest. River cruises allow you a closer look at the Chobe: keep an eye out for crocodiles and hippos as well as giant monitor lizards and African Fish-eagles.

Day 5: The Journey Ends

Shared charter flight to Kasane Airport & your onward connection.

After breakfast you have a short flight to Kasane Airport, near the Chobe River and just an hour’s drive from Victoria Falls. The safari now ends but if you’d like to add on some time at Victoria Falls, we can arrange everything. A road transfer will take you from Kasane to accommodation on either side of the Zambezi – Zimbabwe or Zambia, and you can fly out from either Livingstone or Victoria Falls Airport.
