Traveling with kids is always an adventure—but taking a 9-year-old to Zimbabwe? That’s a whole new level of unforgettable. When we first started planning our trip, we were excited, nervous, and full of questions. Would it be safe? Would there be enough to keep a child entertained?

From 21st to 29th August 2021, our travel-specialist Karina traveled to Botswana and its top safari regions: Central Kalahari, Magkadigkadi, Okavango Delta, Moremi and Chobe’s Savuti and River. We do regular site inspections to ensure our travel recommendations are as good as we say they are.
Kubu Island is simply one of those amazing places for landscape and astrophotography. I have quite an obsession with astrophotography and “shooting” the stars at Kubu has long been on my bucket list. Due to the remote location of Kubu, there is hardly any light pollution.
